Feeds?
Horses eat from a feedbag. You can read from a feed reader. Does that clear things up for you?
To be honest, I had no idea what the hell was the go with feeds either, when I first set up this page, and in a way, I’m still getting to know what they are all about. In simple terms, it’s like getting the newspaper delivered to your house every day, except the newspaper is my website, you house is your computer, and every day is, well, every time the page is updated. Your feed reader might be part of your browser, or a gadget on your Mac desktop, or whatever, and rather than going to your favourite sites to see if they have been updated, you can see the headlines at a glance. A novel and really rather clever idea.
Originally, feeds were pretty simple, and text-based (as far as I understand). Now, as they become more popular, they are becoming much like the original page themselves.
So please, if you like my stuff, and would like to know when I post something new on here, subscribe! But don’t forget to come back and leave a comment from time to time, just to share the love. You can subscribe using your favourite reader by hovering over the subscribe button to the right, or click the enormous RSS button below, see where that takes ya. You might find it is a life changing experience.
