Complaining and praising… Whatever is required

Playstation Home to start expanded Beta

August 10th, 2008 Posted in Games

You may be aware that Playstation Home is entering an ‘expanded closed beta’ at the end of this month for the US, but what about the rest of us? Well, I can’t be certain about Australia, but Edge is reporting that Europe will also be entering an expanded beta period at the end of August as well. I’m hoping we can jump on that bandwagon.

What does this mean? Well, it means that more people will be given the chance to enter Playstation Home. What it also means is that it is looking like it will enter the open beta soon as well. Basically, I think they’re at a stage now where they want to test the load on the servers. Apparently, the chance to participate will depend on your previous use of the PSN and Playstation Store. Even if Australia is part of the European beta, I won’t be invited, I think… I haven’t played many online games over PSN… Although I do check the Playstation Store on a regular basis…

C’mon Sony! Let Australia in on the fun! Or at least let me!
