PSN Update: Sucks to be Australian again
July 25th, 2008 Posted in GamesGo to 1up or Kotaku and read about what the Americans got in their PSN update this week, and be amazed. PixelJunk Eden demo (most importantly), Siren: Blood Curse episodes (want those too), reduced prices for several PSN games, several wallpapers, Guitar Hero music, and Rock Band music.
Then get on the Aussie PSN, and get a little depressed. Some might even say they die a little inside. I know I do. And why? Because we got a PixelJunk Eden video and wallpaper, but no demo; we got the Guitar Hero songs, but let’s forget about Rock Band (that game is dead in my eyes…), miss out totally on Siren (hopefully not for long), and absolutely NO price cuts! Well, that’s a big up yours from Sony then!
OK, so they might do these discounts regionally, but still, I want Siren and PixelJunk Eden. If they were released today, I could have guaranteed Sony two purchases right there (while I’m still riding on my tax rebate)… In a couple of weeks, it won’t be there to spend… Silly Sony. OK, it’s really just my bad luck, but still, you gotta blame someone.
