Japan: Photo’s of confusionment

I don’t know what the hell this meant, but I saw it while waiting for my train home from work, so I had to take the photo… Looking for a possible definition on the net, I found that some others have also spotted this advertisement and found it amusing… Well, now it’s my turn.
All I’m gonna say is (ignoring the very typical Japanese use of the word “Let’s” followed by a noun) — What the hell does pecology mean?
