The calm before the storm
July 14th, 2008 Posted in PersonalYes, it’s E3 time and I took a night off. Well, I don’t really want to say it was a lazy night — particularly because in reality I dd my tax return tonight, but still. I took the night off of blogging. Sure I’m writing this, but it’s more of an update than a post… And my world is looking good at the moment.
Life is grand, tax is done, new job is great, should be taking a holiday in Tokyo in October. On top of that, I finally finished editing my father’s book (details coming soon — watch this space!), and we might (emphasis on might) be getting a new computer soon. Might. If the stars align in a precise configuration. Which they might. You never know.
However, the main reason I took tonight off is because the next couple of days are gonna be painful. There’s bound to be FAR too much information coming in from E3, and I’m gonna have to take it all in, and try to spit out the important bits in smaller portions. Will take some work. Plus, I wanna watch all of the press conferences and detail them as well… If I have the time and patience (and my net connection holds out), I might just be able to do all of that. Fingers crossed.
Eyes on the prize. If I keep focused on the sexy new computer (might!), then I can get throught this. Well, I might.
