Apple Store opens in Sydney

ApplePersonally, I was a little surprised when I heard the first Apple Store was soon to open in Australia. I thought we had one. In fact, I thought there were several. Oh well… Anyway, the Apple Store opened its doors this week in Sydney, and has attracted a hell of a lot of people (Sydney Morning Herald story for reference).

I don’t know what all the fuss is about, myself. Sure, I like Apple products, they’re pretty sexy looking. But what the hell’s going on? Why such craziness? Well, I suppose people get really into things… But still… Then again, Apple fans are pretty vocal about how awesome they are…

I went to the Apple Store in Tokyo — nice building, well-designed and sexy, but it wasn’t that special, I mean, they only had Apple products! I think that’s not a good thing! OK, so it was good when I needed my iPod repaired. Three times…

Anyway, if you’re into it, check it out! In defense of the Apple-lovers, I went to the Sony building in Tokyo just because it was the Sony building, and you can guarantee if there was a Nintendo store in Oz, I would be there… But still… Apple? There’s only so long that I can look at iPods and MacBooks for…
