Weekend BBQ: Another Roast? Pork?
May 11th, 2008 Posted in Weekend BBQYep… another roast. We were in a bit of a hurry, as we had been out for most of the day, due to it being Mother’s Day… We had planned to have a BBQ today, but we really had no idea what we were going to cook. Then we had an epiphany- roasts are easy.
Of course… After taking the roast out of the barbie, we were pretty hungry, and so we carved it up before taking a photo, so this is all we got… It was done very simply- potatoes and meat each wrapped individually in foil, with oil butter, and assorted spices. Then cooked under the roasting hod for about an hour and a half. It was actually really, really good for such a simple meal… Then we just nuked some frozen veggies, and had a damn good meal- accompanied by beer, of course…
Yeah, I didn’t expect to have so little time today… Phew! Plus, we are priming the battery still- not sure I have to though, I thought Lithium-Ion batteries did away with the memory effect… Oh well, to be honest… I have no idea, really!
