Japan: Engrish/Funny Photo
May 8th, 2008 Posted in Japan, PhotosWell, i had a busy day today, and I’m STILL waiting on my copy of Grand Theft Auto 4, so I’m not in the best mood to be writing today… On top of that, I haven’t really come across a piece of news that I think is worthy! What I can’t wait for is a new battery for this laptop, so I can port it around…
Anyway, all that is beside the point. Today, I have another funny photo of something I found in Japan. This time it’s some classic Engrish.

Of course, it means “Police frequent this store.” or however you’d like to translate, but it’s still pretty funny. I can’t remember exactly where the convenience store that houses this sign is located, but it is a few hours train ride out of Tokyo, in a small, kinda country town… We went out there to go to a Shinto shrine to pray for our travel… I was the only foreigner there, so I was getting a few looks… and that was BEFORE I took this photo…
Anyway, that oughtta do you for today… Once I get GTA4 I will be sure to post my immediate impressions as a past ‘hater’ (well, not really, just wasn’t that impressed by previous GTA’s), but I will not post a review, as I’m not sure how long it’ll take me to finish! Yep, I’m one of those gamers– I LOVE video games, but I don’t have the time to play them, write my blog, design my other blog, and work, all the while trying to keep my wife happy… It’s a wonderful life! Trust me– I still haven’t finished Half Life 2 (but I’ll get there)!
