New NIN news…
April 24th, 2008 Posted in MusicWell… Being news, I guess it has to be new… That brings up a point, why is news, “news”? When it becomes old, why does it become “old news”, and not “olds”? May be a stupid question, but I am a stupid person.
Anyway.. there is a new song available for download at nin.com… Go get it. It’s called “Discipline”, and it is, in my opinion, a step forward for the band. Trent seems to have grown since finding freedom in marketing his work online, and it shows in the music. While the song is new-style nin, it reminds me of some really old-school nin (I’m talking Pretty Hate Machine)… But I’m not sure how…

I think it’s called ‘news’ because it’s stories that are gathered from all over the place - N.orth, E.ast, W.est and S.outh…
