Slowly, slowly, wins the race.

I’m aware there’s no race and there’s nothing to win. Or perhaps life is a race and we are all winners? Well, we were all once racing to have a crack at the egg at one point, and we all won that race, didn’t we? Although none of us can quite remember that point in our existence, it is an aspect of our past that we rarely consider… Our lives swimming around in a fluid matrix…
Anyway… Things are happening, but not at an alarming rate. Not in the slightest. My planned weekend of setting up the site was foiled by my lack of foresight, and since then I have had little time to get into it. Today was shopping day, and of course the traffic home after work was a killer due to the AWESOME wind in Melbourne today (I wish I took a photo), then we found the power was out at the local shops as a result… Then when we got home, we discovered that the pilot light had been blown out and we had no hot water! Took me some time to figure out the intricacies of a gas heating system patented by Fred Flintstone, but by 8pm I was able to get online.
Then I learned that installing plugins on WordPress was to take me some time… Sigh… Almost there, my pretties…
But- in all honesty, and with a stern serious face on to ensure that you are aware I’m not, in fact, joking- I am in awe of the superbiosity that is WordPress. It’s ability to do pretty much everything I want it to is, well, a feature I was hoping it would have, in reality… But never did I expect it to be able to do so. Now, if only it would bring me a new can- this one’s empty…
Anyway, I’m just rambling today, no clear direction here. Was just a post to advise you that progress is still underway. Steps are being undertaken to ensure that future posts on Vent? will not sap the energy from you. No promises, though. Part of the grand plan involves energy sapping. Damn, I’ve alluded to the grand plan… Just whistle and sidle away…
